I am interested in Contemporary art so I subscribe to Juxtapose. I am very finnicky wen it comes to appriciating photography beacuse I feel as though anyone can pick up a camera and call it "art". Piper Ferguson is definitely very painterly with her photography, using interesting seiintg and costumes to define her portrait like subjects. One that I really appriciated sice I love the artist Camille Rose Garcia, was an image Ferguson took of her as Frida Kahlo. She often takes photos of musicians and famous personalities and translates the models into beautiful creative images.
