When I was looking at " The New york Times" article on thier website in the art & design section. I found something that caught my attention a story called " Giants of the Heartland" by Michael Kimmelman.
Jun Kaneko is an Japanese ceramic artist from omaha who has a studio five hours away from him in a factory in MissionClay. Mr.Kaneko shows his hard work and dedication in the ceramic figure heads he makes the size of Baby rhinos they are considered to be abstract art because of thier lima bean like shape the faces on the figures are peaceful very calm which gives the thousand pounds 13ft tall ceramic figures seem like gentle giants
