While searching through the numerous articles related to art, I stumbled across the article titled "Steinberg's Universal 'view of the world' " from the Philadelphia Inquirer. This article discusses her thoughts of the world's views along with her treatment of the human body in regards to art. Upon first reading her views I was disturbed about her conciderations of human body as an art form, after some thought it made me realize that art is not the same through each persons eyes. It is truely in the eye of the beholder. This article made me realize why I began creating art, it was to clear my head and release my thought into the world. At the start of each piece were my feelings my thoughts and my views on the world and its events. Steinberg has a unique way of looking at everyday objects and transforming them into a piece of art, but isn't this what each piece is, my unique way of looking into the world? Reading this article gave me a fresh view on art, it refreshed me, gave me a renewed passion to create. I am eager to continue pouring my thoughts and feelings out onto paper.
