Margret Evangeline at the Hillard art Museum and at Heriard-Cimino:Art in America,Jan 2007, by Lilly Wei-response; New York artist,Margeret Evangeline, is from Louisina and had two exibits about the victims of Katrina and Rita. She focuses on vulnerability and resistance, in human nature, political nature, and nature's way. She invokes feelings of simpathy for all of the victims and critcisms toward the president. She expresses how the hurricane was unforgiving along with the president. One of her themes "Dodged a bullet" shows the sarcasim of the government on this problem.Bullets, used throughout the show , really stress her point and give the viewers a feel for what shes saying about the sarcasim and ignorance of the president. This was a pretty strong and emotional show.
